Invasive Species Management

Invasive species are plants or pests that are introduced to a non-native ecosystem. These pests have the ability to cause harm to the environments, wildlife, the economy and human health. Invasive species pose threats to native regeneration and wildlife. The fruits produced by invasive species are typically not as nutritious as native fruits, thereby reducing the overall vigor of wildlife populations that feed on them.

Birdseye utilizes integrated pest management (IPM). IPM allows us to utilize mechanical and chemical control depending on the clients goals and environmental situation. Birdseye Forestry is a Certified Pesticide Applicator in the State of Vermont.
